Nick and Jess

They share a mutual and deep love for life at the “Rivah“…the term refers to the area on the middle peninsula of Virginia, but is really more of a lifestyle than a place. It’s the laid-back vibe that somehow makes all of the worries of work from the week melt away and it’s where some of Nick and Jess’s favorite memories have been made. Her parents own the sweetest little house with an amazing pier and a little sandy area where Nick asked Jess to be his wife…

And they brought all of their friends and family back to that very same spot to celebrate with them last weekend! Their families worked so hard to make this the most magical place ever to have a wedding celebration…with string lights hanging in the trees and the perfect dance floor patio overlooking the water…it couldn’t have been more beautiful! But to top it off, Jess has the best style and created the most perfect details that are a true reflection of them…when Jess first contacted me, she shared that she was excited that our styles are similar…and I didn’t know just how much of a compliment that was, until I saw it come together! From the custom made stationary (that she designed herself) to the champagne + oyster bar, gorgeous centerpieces, and all of the signage (that she lettered herself), down to the little flag printed with their wedding logo that waved on the boat that they road up to their reception on…it was truly amazing! And I am so excited to share all of my favorite photos from their day…

Jess and Nick, thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding! You two are such a special couple…I love how you are each others “person” and how your relationship is rooted in such a deep, beautiful friendship. It was such an honor to get to see you become husband and wife! And I’m so excited for you two as you begin this new chapter of life together! I hope you enjoy my favorites!
