VMFA Engagement | Kent and Jennifer

Ohh these two. I just adore them! Kent and Jennifer are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met and I was so excited to get to know them better during their engagement session at the VMFA in the Museum District of Richmond just a few miles from where they live! It’s a place they frequent together for date nights at the museum cafe and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect for this shoot. I love getting to help couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera…it doesn’t come naturally for most people, but these two made my job so easy! And I definitely have another new favorite engagement session. Just wait until you see these portraits in the magnolia trees! They are magical!

Kent proposed to Jennifer while on a trip to Paris…which I think might secretly be every girls dream? He made a scavenger hunt for her around the city and ended the evening on one knee at the Ceil de Paris….the “She Said Oui” banner at the end of this post is a nod to their French proposal story and I loved it!

Kent and Jennifer, thank you so much for trusting me to capture you two in this season and for allowing me to be a part of this special time in your lives! Your wedding day can’t come soon enough! I hope you enjoy my favorites…
