Destination engagement sessions are fast becoming one of my favorite things. I love photographing a couple in a place that has special meaning to them…whether it’s where they got engaged or where they grew up…there’s just something about shooting in that place that adds that extra little bit of magic to a shoot and makes the photos extra special.

The Jersey Shore is where Mark and Jessica grew up…it was where they first met in a high school study hall and it’s where they started dating. It’s where they shared their first kiss and it’s where they fell in love. They went to college in different states, but this will always be a place where they share memories together and I love that about it! As we made our way down the shore, the way he looked at her and made her laugh was absolutely perfect. When a couple has dated for that long you can just sense the comfort in their relationship…that thing where you can tell that they know what the other is thinking before they utter a single word. And I think that effortlessness comes out in their photos!  Spending time with them was such a joy and I hope you enjoy my favorites!
