It was sometime last year that Ali suggested we take a trip to Charleston with some of our close girlfriends to reconnect and get away before the busyness of wedding season started…I loved the idea right away and was so excited when she made it happen! We got our friends on board and soon enough she had rented us an adorable little house in Folly Beach just outside of Charleston in South Carolina for the week. A few days of fellowship, relaxation and adventures. There aren’t many things I love more!

After leaving Venice on a sleeper train, we arrived bright and early back in Nuremberg where my uncle picked us up and took us to my aunt house. We spent the morning resting for a while on an actual bed and taking showers before heading out again with my uncle Gerold. He took us to Rothenburg for the afternoon where he sat in a cafe and got some work done while we explored the town! This little town is surrounded by a wall that you can walk on and is nicknamed Germany’s fairytale town. Their also famous for Schneeballen (snowball in English) which are pastry dough rolled into
