James and Rachel

You might remember these two from their wedding last year in St. Andrews…one of my all time favorite couples to photograph! And can you blame me? How beautiful are they? Since their wedding day they’ve been making a life in Edinburgh and live in an adorable flat in the West End…which ended up being the perfect place to take their one year anniversary photos! They gave us a tour of their quaint neighborhood and as we walked around stopping at the most picturesque spots, I couldn’t help but fall a little bit more in love with this city…Scotland is one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited and it is always so wonderful to have locals show you around town! We stopped for coffee midway through the shoot at the most adorable Scandinavian style cafe for coffee and pastries, and then later went to dinner and ate the best indian food we’ve ever had! I’m already dreaming of the next time I will get to visit this amazing place!

Rachel and James are the most vibrant couple and it’s amazing how their love for each other leaps out of the photos…I’m so excited for them as they begin the hunt to buy their first home together and can’t wait to see where the Lord leads them and how He’s going to continue to use them in this city!

These are some of my all time favorite portraits and I am so excited to share them today! Enjoy!
