Munro and Catherine

We woke up to the most beautiful day in St. Andrews, Scotland for Catherine and Munro’s wedding at Kinkell Byre…I’ve learned that Scotland is generally quite rainy so this was especially exciting! They planned a really beautiful, intimate ceremony in an old stone barn that sits on a hill overlooking the town… strings of fairy lights hung above the spot where Munro waited to marry his bride surrounded by 50 of their closest friends and family…

Catherine and Munro began dating at the very end of high school…since Ryan and I were high school sweethearts too, it’s alway so sweet to get to work with other couples who have grown so much together! I loved the personal touches throughout the day that they planned to make their day special to them…Catherine is a music teacher so the songs and musicians who played were all very special to her…I also loved the sheet music that she crafted to hold the flower petals for their ceremony exit! And Munro is an aerospace engineer and aviation enthusiast so he made little airplane models to incorporate into their decor. It was a beautiful day and I’m so excited to share my favorite images with you!

My friend Jill and I had the best time being back here in the very place where we shot Rachel and James’ wedding last year! It’s my favorite place to shoot and we are hoping to make this a yearly tradition and come back every year…Munro and Catherine, thank you so much for having us be a part of your wedding day! Enjoy my favorites!
