Nate and Ellie

I first got to know Nate and Ellie when I met them at her family’s beach house on the coast of North Carolina near Wilmington for their gorgeous engagement session this past winter…I’d been looking forward to their wedding at Woodend Sanctuary ever since! The weather ended up being absolutely perfect and as soon as we pulled up to the venue I started to get excited for Ellie and Nate to say their vows in the prettiest spot amidst the trees…this little ceremony spot is like something magical out of a dream!

And on top of that Ellie + Nate and their families were a dream to work with too! It’s always the best when a bride is just so excited to finally get to marry the love of her life that nothing can bring down her joy. Ellie was all smiles all day long and the excitement was building as each little portion of the day unfolded…I love getting to capture joy like that! It’s such an honor and makes me feel like the luckiest photographer! When Nate first saw Ellie in her gown and they finally got to start sharing the joy of their wedding day together, it was like the excitement reached a peak that they didn’t come down from all day. This was a relationship that began in sixth grade and every bit of their day was beautiful and a perfect reflection of them!

Nate and Ellie, congratulations again and thank you so much for having me be a part of your day! I hope you enjoy my favorites!
