Richmond Wedding Photography | Johnny and Katie

They bring out the best in each other…wedding days can be a whirlwind — everything happens so fast and sometimes things don’t go as planned…emotions are running high as all of the final preparations for that “I do” moment are happening…At the hotel that afternoon there was so much excitement and joy, but also a little stress about getting to the First Look on time…but in that moment when she walked up behind Johnny and he turned and took her into his arms, I saw her stress and worry visibly melt away. He is truly home to her and I loved seeing that look in their eyes as the realization that they were about to become one sunk in. Those moments leading up to that realization always seem to happen slowly and then all at once…that “we’re finally getting married!!” feeling takes over and everything else fades!

It was such an honor to witness these two becoming husband and wife…I loved celebrating with them and it was obvious that all of their family and friends were just so happy for them! They’re one of those impossibly sweet couples that you can’t help but love. They are truly some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. The emails I’ve gotten from Katie expressing her joy in having me be a part of their day have made me tear up because I’m just so grateful that I get to work with people like her and Johnny…Their day was so elegant and perfect for them and I can’t wait for you to look through these! I hope you enjoy my favorites!
