It’s an exciting day for Annamarie Akins Photography! I’m so thrilled to reveal my new logo to you! My amazing website designer, Krista, did an incredible job of taking my desire for something simple and sophisticated and turning it into a reality…She actually finished it at the beginning of January, but now that my full site is getting much closer to being complete I am ready to share it! I can not wait to get my new marketing materials with this pretty thing branded on them! And I can’t wait for you to see the rest of my new site + branding!

And did you  notice that last word in my new logo? I’m incredibly excited to be soft launching the  name and branding for something that is going to become a main focus for my business! Anniversary Celebration Sessions! This announcement has been a long time coming…I fell in love with photographing this type of session last year because as much as I love weddings, I am even more passionate about couples building a marriage that will last a lifetime. In the information section of my current website I have a section called “Why I love what I do” and in it I wrote “I love what I do because I believe in marriage and a love that lasts a lifetime of ups and downs”. Marriage is constantly building on itself and I believe it should be celebrated as often as possible! I shared in this post about the mentoring session I did last November with my amazing friend and mentor, Natalie Franke,  that some exciting changes for my business were coming as they solidified a little more and this is it! We spent most of our time together brainstorming how this could become more of a focal point for my business and I’m so excited to share all of the details with you when my new site launches! My dream is to be able to celebrate marriage with couples all over the U.S. and other parts of the world through providing them with an amazing experience and beautiful photographs that represent their relationship and love for each other. Again, I’ll be sharing more details about what makes an Anniversary Celebration Session so special soon! It is so much more than just pretty portraits and I am hoping that you will be a believer in them too after you read more!
