Adie | Petersburg Senior Portraits

I was so excited to meet Adie and her mom in Petersburg last weekend for her senior pictures…Adie’s mom was my first boss and she’s one of the most genuine and funny people I know…and Adie definitely takes after her…They are just really fun people to spend time with…I really can’t believe that Adie is graduating! I started working for her mom when I was a sophomore in high school and one of my good friends was her babysitter…Well now she’s so grown up and gorgeous and I had the best time getting to hang out with her and hear about her plans for the future!

We spent the evening walking around Olde Town Petersburg and catching up…There are so many fun places to shoot there! I love senior sessions because they are so laid back and I feel like I can experiment with different lighting a little more…The weather was perfect and we couldn’t have ask for a better day to take them! Thank you Adie and Monica for driving up and for letting me take your pictures! Hope you enjoy my favorites….

Petersburg has so many pretty old buildings and doors…

Then we found this shovel..haha!

Ahhh so pretty!!

Sometimes really old and dirty locations make the best spots for pictures!

Love these!!

loved these wooden double doors…

So cute!!

LOVE this! Adie you have the BEST model face…

Right after this Adie’s mom yelled, “THIS IS NOT A DRILL…THERE IS A TRAIN COMING!!!”…haha!

Here it comes!

Love these ones…so fun!

Then Adie was brave and sat on this abandoned couch and it was so worth it…

The lighting was crazy but really cool in this little alley because it was reflecting off of that purple wall!

FAVORITE!

And then it started to get really dark, but we made it work and these are actually some of my favorites! You’re so pretty Adie!!

Then we started to walk back to the car…

And I’ll leave you with these…they describe Adie and her mom’s relationship perfectly…love them!

These are so fun Annamarie! I love the first one with the train going by. And only you would randomly find a vintage sofa that worked perfectly for the shoot. Beautiful work!
